What buyers ask us first.

Do you integrate with SCADA historians, meter data and existing asset systems?
Yes. Most energy and utility work is integration work, so we treat it as the main risk rather than a detail. Before quoting we identify each source — historian, meter data management, GIS, CRM, finance, contractor systems — establish how it exposes data (API, database view, file drop, OPC gateway) and who controls access. Each integration is named individually in the fixed scope. Where a system has no clean interface, we say so up front and price the workaround rather than discovering it mid-build. We read from operational systems; we do not write into control systems.
How does the pricing and engagement work?
It starts with a 30 minute call. From that we write a fixed scope, timeline and price before any build work begins, so you are not signing an open-ended time-and-materials arrangement. The build is priced as a project. After launch, the managed retainer is a separate monthly fee covering monitoring, fixes with agreed response targets, improvements, security updates and a monthly report. We do not publish rate cards, because the price depends entirely on how many integrations and asset classes are in scope. You get a number in writing before committing.
What happens after launch?
We run it. That is the second half of "we build, we run". The managed retainer covers monitoring so problems are found by us rather than reported by a crew, fixes to agreed response targets, ongoing improvements, and security updates. You get a monthly report showing what broke, what was fixed, what changed and how the system is performing. Across the products we run, uptime sits at 99.9%. If you would rather take the system in-house, we hand over documented code and access — but the default is that we stay on.
Will the mobile tools work where there is no signal?
Yes, and this is designed in from the start rather than added later. Field apps hold the job list, asset details and forms locally, so an engineer can complete an inspection in a basement substation or a rural site and the record is captured properly. Data syncs when the device reconnects, with conflict handling so two people working the same asset do not overwrite each other. Photos and signatures queue the same way. We test this against real conditions before launch, not just on office wifi, because a field tool that needs a connection is a paper form with extra steps.
Can you handle the reporting formats our regulator requires?
We build reports to the format you are actually obliged to produce, whichever regime you operate under. The approach is to capture the underlying evidence once, in structured form — inspection results, test certificates, asset condition, remedial actions, dates and the person responsible — and then generate the return from that data on schedule. That way a change to the reporting format is a change to one output, not a re-keying exercise. We need your current returns and the guidance you work to during the scoping call so the data model matches what you must evidence.
Have you delivered projects in the energy sector specifically?
Not a published energy case study, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we have done is closely adjacent: an ERP for a machinery manufacturer, attendance systems across three manufacturing plants, a support copilot for a fintech, and multi-branch operations software for a garage group covering nine sites. The shared shape is field or plant operations, scheduled work, distributed teams, compliance records and integration with systems nobody wants to replace. On the call we will tell you plainly which parts of your problem we have solved before and which parts would be new.
