What buyers ask us first.

Have you built software for agriculture before?
We have not published an agriculture case study, so we will not claim a track record in the sector. What we do have is the underlying work: AI agents and copilots running in production, attendance management live across three manufacturing plants, an ERP for a machinery business, and websites and stores. Field records, equipment maintenance, batch traceability and shift-based labour are familiar problems in different clothing. On the call we will tell you plainly which parts we have built before and which parts would be new for us.
What does it cost, and how does an engagement work?
It starts with a 30 minute call. From that we write a fixed scope, timeline and price before any build work begins, so you are approving a number rather than an hourly rate that drifts. Price depends on how much is new: shaping one of our ready-built systems, such as attendance, costs less than a field data platform built from scratch. After launch the managed retainer is a separate monthly fee covering monitoring, fixes to response targets, improvements, security updates and a monthly report. You can take the build without the retainer, but we would rather you did not.
What happens after launch?
Launch is the start of the run phase, not the end of the project. We monitor the system, fix what breaks against agreed response targets, apply security updates, and make improvements as the season exposes them. Each month you get a report: uptime, incidents, what we fixed, what changed and what we think should come next. We hold 99.9% uptime across the systems we operate. In practice it means that when a clock-in terminal fails at five in the morning during harvest, someone is already looking at it rather than waiting for a ticket.
Will it work in fields with no mobile signal?
Yes, if it is designed that way from the start, which is how we design it. Capture happens on the device: the app holds the record locally, timestamps it, and syncs when signal returns, whether that is at the gate, the yard or the packhouse. The hard part is conflict handling rather than storage. Two people editing the same field record offline must not overwrite each other, so we agree those rules during scoping rather than discovering them in week three of the season. We also keep screens usable in gloves and in bright sun.
Can you connect to our machinery telematics and agronomy platforms?
Usually, and it depends on the API. Most machinery telematics, weather station and agronomy platforms expose data through an API or a scheduled export. We map what you already pay for, connect what can be connected, and import the rest on a schedule rather than asking anyone to retype it. Where a platform has no usable interface, we say so early rather than promising an integration that quietly turns into manual work later. Nothing gets torn out to make our system look tidy: the aim is one place to read from, not one more system to fill in.
Can we trust AI with agronomy and compliance records?
We build AI agents and copilots, and we only put them live with guardrails, monitoring and a rollback path. In an agri setting the useful ones are narrow: answering what was applied to a field and when, from your own records; drafting a first response to an audit question; triaging an equipment fault before someone drives out to it. The rule we hold is that the agent reads and drafts, and a person approves anything affecting a compliance record, a payment or a spray decision. If it cannot answer from your data, it says so rather than filling the gap.
