Hire talent

Senior people who join your team and ship.

You interview them, they work in your repository and follow your process. No recruitment fee, no hiring cycle, and you keep ownership of the work.

Questions

What buyers ask us first.

How is this different from hiring an agency?
An agency owns the delivery and hands you the result. Here the engineer joins your team, works in your repository, attends your stand-up and follows your process. You keep ownership of the work and the decisions. Some clients use both — an augmented engineer for ongoing work, and a scoped project for a specific build.
Can I meet the person before committing?
Yes. You interview them the way you would interview a permanent hire, technically and otherwise. If they are not right for your team, we do not place them. We would rather lose the engagement than put someone into a team where they will not work out.
What does it cost and how is it billed?
Engagements are monthly or hourly depending on how predictable the work is, agreed before anyone starts. There is no recruitment fee and no minimum term beyond the notice period we agree at the outset. Ask on the first call and we will give you a number for the specific role rather than a range.
How quickly can someone start?
Faster than a hiring cycle, which is usually the reason people ask. The constraint is your interview process rather than our availability. Onboarding is quicker where you already have a running project and documentation; slower where the engineer has to reverse-engineer an undocumented system first.
What if we need to scale up or down?
That is the main advantage of this model over permanent hiring. Add people for a push, reduce when the work settles. We ask for notice so nobody is left mid-task, and we keep handover notes throughout so a person leaving does not take the context with them.
Do they work in our timezone?
We agree the overlap before anyone starts, because it is the thing most likely to cause friction later. If your team needs four hours of real overlap for pairing and reviews, say so at the beginning and we will staff for it rather than promising asynchronous working that does not suit how you actually operate.
