Custom web development for websites that have outgrown their template

Infoloop's custom web development services deliver websites and web applications in code for companies that have outgrown a template. Typical requirements include a customer portal, a pricing calculator or live data from another system. The scope, budget and timeline are agreed in writing before work starts.

Custom web development built for your industry

Each industry needs different pages, portals and integrations from its website. These are the web projects we deliver most often in each.

How we work

Our custom web development process

Four stages, with the scope, budget and timeline approved before development starts.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

You describe what the site needs to do and what limits it today. We ask about your current systems and deadline, then advise whether custom code is necessary at all.

  2. 02

Scope and budget, agreed in writing

The proposal defines the scope, cost and delivery date. The cost is a fixed price when the scope is clear, or an hourly rate with an estimate. You approve it before any code is written. Any change outside the agreed scope is discussed and quoted first.

  3. 03

Staged reviews on a test site

Every stage is deployed to a staging URL you can open at any time. You review working screens while changes are still inexpensive.

  4. 04

    Launch and handover

We deploy to production and hand over the code, accounts and documentation. Your team then manages the site, or an optional monthly plan covers monitoring, fixes within an agreed service level and a monthly report. Software we support holds 99.9% uptime.

FAQs

Questions about custom web development

Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask us on the call.

  • What does a custom website cost?

Websites start from $4k, and a custom web application behind a login costs more. The cost depends on screens, business logic, integrations and content migration. A website with a clear scope has a fixed price. An application whose scope will change is billed hourly. The rate and an estimate are agreed in writing after a half-hour call.

  • What is custom web development, and when does a template stop being enough?

Custom web development means the site is written in code instead of assembled from a template. If the site is mostly pages, images and a blog, a Webflow site costs less, and Infoloop delivers those too. Custom code pays off for logins, calculations, live data from other systems or heavy plugin use.

  • How long does custom web development take?

Most projects go live in 4 to 8 weeks, with the date agreed in writing before work starts. Larger systems go live in agreed phases, so part of the site is live and useful early. Tell us about a hard deadline on the first call, because it changes the release order.

  • Can you add a customer login, a calculator or live data from another system?

Yes, and those are the usual reasons to choose custom code. Common requests are logins with role-based permissions, price or quote calculators, and data from your ERP, CRM or accounting system. We integrate through the other system's API (its published connection point), or through scheduled file transfers where none exists.

  • Do we own the source code, domain and hosting?

Yes. The code, domain, hosting and every other account are in your name from day one. Development uses mainstream, well-documented frameworks, so another developer can take over. There is no license to renew, and the monthly support plan ends with notice.

  • Will a rebuild hurt our Google rankings?

Not if URL changes are managed. Before launch, we list every URL that receives traffic or backlinks and map each one to its new address. Redirects are tested on the staging site, titles and meta descriptions carry over, and the highest-traffic pages are rebuilt first.

Outgrown the template? Let us price the build

Show us the site that no longer meets the need, the stack of plugins or the spreadsheet standing in for software. You get a clear recommendation, then the scope, budget and delivery date in writing.
