QA Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify issues, create test plans, and ensure smooth, error-free releases.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue management tools.
Work closely with developers to debug and resolve issues.
Conduct regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
Validate UI/UX implementations and ensure consistent user experience.
Review requirements and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
Ensure product stability before every release.
Stay updated with QA tools, techniques, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
Experience with manual testing and writing clear test cases.
Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Good understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) for test validations.
Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and work closely with the development team.
Experience with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have (Optional)
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with automation frameworks.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to security testing.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
